Our guiding principles; safety, engagement, and learning permeate everything we do. Axonaskolan in Tollarp is a F-9 school with approximately 170 students. As a special educator with us, you will play an important role for our students while having the opportunity to work with the school management and your colleagues to develop the school. Axonaskolan is part of the Edukatus Alliance, where we actively work with various networks between our schools to learn from and with each other, generously sharing our knowledge and experiences characterized by collegial exchange and collaboration. We have the courage to constantly challenge ourselves and develop our teaching.

Description

As a special educator, you will be part of the student health team (EHT) together with the counselor, school nurse, and principal. You will work closely with teachers to develop the school's special educational competence and support students in need. Your work includes leading development projects, managing documentation such as pedagogical investigations and action plans, and serving as an advisor on pedagogical issues at various levels within the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work.

  • Has the tools needed to meet students, guardians, and educators in a communicative and trustworthy manner.

  • Has a coaching approach and is structured and flexible.

  • Works long-term, sets goals, tests, and evaluates together with colleagues.

Qualifications

You are a trained special educator or special teacher with a primary school teacher education and experience in teaching. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
